CalDigit Tip of the Week Oct 10, 2012

Our tip this week is for the upgrade of CalDigit‘s archive boxes that are used with CalDigit drive modules. If you’re not familiar with CalDigit’s drive modules, they allow you to expand the storage capacity of your VR2, VRmini, and HDPro2. All three of these units have hot swappable drive bays that allow you to add extra drives to your storage solution.

When you purchase a drive module from CalDigit it comes beautifully packaged in an archive box for safe storage. This is ideal for people who archive their data, and need to store their drive modules away safely. They are also great for people who are working on location, and need to make sure their data is protected from the elements.

The new archive boxes from CalDigit have a solid plastic exterior that is incredibly robust. The interior of the archive box has a padded insert that cushions the hard drive from any bumps.
